Recommendations for the Campbell Awards

Rachel Swirsky has put together a terrific post on her recommendations for the 2014 Campbell awards. I am eligible for the Campbell myself (and thanks for the mention, Rachel) but I cannot argue with the fantastic list of writers that Rachel has put together for her recommendations. I think you should consider them.

Run over to Rachel’s list and check out these writers and their work:

• Carmen Maria Machado
• Sofia Samatar
• Benjanun Sriduangkaew

And to this list I would add and ask you to consider:

• Emily Jiang
• Gwenda Bond

Then get yourself to the nominations page for Loncon and put your nominations in. Midnight tonight is the deadline for submitting and I would really like to see some of these names on that list when it comes time to vote this year.
